Have you missed out on our previous Connect & Craft: Knitting Series'? Are you new to Connect and want to have a go at a new craft? Dive into a new skill in a fun, relaxing and easy-to-learn way by making a pair of cosy hand warmers you’ll be proud to wear.
Knitting can be an effective activity for mindfulness and stress reduction. The repetitive action of needlework is said to create a relaxed state like when practising meditation and yoga. There are even some positive physiological effects like a lower heart rate, blood pressure and stress hormone levels. Why not try your hand at knitting with a relaxed, small community full of other people learning?
In this free online series, Sarah from Say! Little Hen is here to get you beyond the initial learning curve and guide you through knitting some hand warmers. Be guided through the foundations of knitting with a mix of instructional videos and live sessions so you’re supported all the way through. Designed for those who have not had the chance to be part of a Connect & Craft: Knitting Series in the past, this will be an opportunity to learn, practise and grow your new knitting skills even if you’ve never picked up a needle.
Get started by choosing your yarn colour via the registration form below. You’ll receive your yarn with everything else you’ll need to knit along soon. Spots are limited so secure yours now and don’t miss the chance to connect with yourself and create your very own knitted creation.

Meet Sarah
Sarah learnt to knit as a child and loved it from the very start! Sarah is a firm believer that learning should be as stress-free as possible (there will always be moments of frustration!) and she strives to present all of her classes and workshops in a clear but fun way!
Sarah published her first knitting pattern in 2014 and has since grown a portfolio of over 50 designs. Passing on her passion for knitting is a rich and rewarding experience, and she feels very privileged to be able to do it. Seeing the look of delight on people's faces as they grasp the techniques and begin to enjoy themselves is something she won’t ever tire of!

About Say! Little Hen
Say! Little Hen was founded in March 2017 with a simple goal in mind - to give knitters and crocheters access to a carefully curated range of high-quality yarns.
Since then, we've expanded to include a wide range of tools and notions to make your crafting experience as enjoyable as possible. We host knit-alongs and workshops regularly, both in-person at our Noosa studio and online for knitters worldwide.
